Welcome to Clemson Elementary School!

First Grade Celebrates Fifties Day
To celebrate the fiftieth day of school, the first grade had a 1950's themed day. Some of the activities included counting money in different ways to 50, trying to get to the center of a blow pop in 50 licks, writing 50 words, comparing and contrasting clothing, music, and toys from our decade and the 1950's decade. Students also enjoyed clips of television shows from the 1950's, including "Andy Griffith" and "I Love Lucy". Lunch was served from McDonald's, and the day ended with Coke floats and a Sock Hop!

Jump Rope Team Performs
The Clemson Elementary Jump Rope Team performed at halftime at the Clemson University Volleyball game on Saturday, November 14. The crowd enjoyed quite a show of jumping with single ropes, double-dutch, long ropes, pogo balls, pogo sticks, and tinikling. The next performance will be at the Clemson Christmas Parade. Way to go, Jump Rope Team!

Clemson Football Team Visits
One of the great traditions at Clemson Elementary School is the yearly visit of the Clemson University Football team. Each year, students and teachers line the halls to cheer the team as they parade by. It is an opportunity for the students to see their heroes and show their appreciation to them. Click here for more pictures.
What made this day even more special was the announcement that the school had collected 3750 cans for Clemson Community Care! As a reward for their generosity, classes will get their pictures made with "Mystery Guests" on November 25. Thanks for your support in this endeavor!
